Resil BT1027 has a high cross-linking ability and forms three dimensional polysiloxane networks on the substrate after curing. This results in an elastomeric effect. Other properties imparted include improved tear strength, enhanced sewability and a smooth, bulky handle durable to washing and dry cleaning. BT1027 does not impair the effect of flourescent fabric brighteners, and is compatible with cationic and non-ionic finishing agents. |

| Resil DPT027 Classic |
Fabric finishing, especially in case of wovens, involves addition of a number of additives in the finishing bath along with silicone emulsions. It is possible that the silicone emulsion may not be compatible with these agents and may separate out of the finishing bath after a period of time and coat the roller. This silicone coating on the roller may cause silicone patches on the fabric. In such cases, Resil DPT 027 is recommended as it has good dissolved salt tolerance and is ideal for pad finish applications. |

Resil BT1016 is designed with an advanced emulsifier system that overcomes this limitation and improves silicone performance considerably. The unique design of Resil BT1016 allows it to perform on knit fabrics where it imparts a silky wet handle when used in exhaust applications. |

Garment types that do not require conventional wet processing are sometimes given a water wash to control shrinkage. In such cases, the garment usually has some finish, usually cationic or wax emulsion finish, applied in the yarn stage, which gets washed off making it harsh and uncomfortable. The emulsions are not durable and are easily washed off, making the fabric harsh and uncomfortable. This is particularly noticeable in case of tightly woven substrates. In such cases, Resil BT1036 is a cost effective way of imparting a soft, durable handle that adds value to the fabric. |
